Commission Details: Pricing is based on the exclusivity of the artwork's reproduction. Artist has the capacity to take on two commission projects per month. Painting time can take 2–8 weeks depending on complexity. Please note that larger canvases often result in better artwork.

Process: Upon purchasing your commission the Artist will be in touch via email to coordinate scheduling, inspiration, and color palette. Additional communication will be necessary regarding the final preparations including signing and glazing.

Description: The micro turns macro as we zoom the lens in on the intricate details of the wing of a moth or butterfly. The Wing Series is part of a collection of works by self-taught artist Bridget Kilgallon. Through her art, she attempts to communicate how we transmute times of trauma and loss into creative expression. Her works explore the polarity between beauty and darkness through the use of multi-media techniques that reach beyond the canvas. An uncomplicated motif, the butterfly integrates deep meaning with sublime references to the subconscious intuition and ancient symbolism.
